In 2015 she started her own YouTube channel, TheeKatsMeoww, tackling social issues through humor and a lot of attitude. Her videos have been featured by Buzzfeed, Upworthy and Latina Magazine just to name a few.

She transitioned that popularity and her self education in video production into a thriving career as a video producer and eventually caught the eye of the Latino digital platform Mitú.

As a video producer for Mitú, she's most known for her series - "The Kat Call". She developed and hosted The Kat Call series, where she debunked taboos and misconceptions about the Latino community. Within 3 seasons the series has garnered over 15 million views.

Kat Lazo is a director, producer and host. The Colombian-Peruvian New Yorker has made a name for herself as the Internets favorite no-nonsense Latina who tells it how it is - in front and behind the camera.

She transitioned her popularity as a YouTuber into a thriving career as a video producer. With more than 7 years of digital video production experience, her work has been featured in The Daily News, Huffpost, Latina Magazine and Buzzfeed just to name a few. And as a host Kat has worked and partnered with the likes of U by Kotex, Thrillist and Bustle.

Kat Lazo attended NYC's prestigious LaGuardia High School of The Performing Arts where she studied classical theater and began auditioning at 16 yrs old. But after years of casting directors asking her to "say it a little more urban" or "can you give us a neck roll?" she decided to take things into her own hands and make her own media.
